FAQ's:
-How much rain does the temperate deciduous forest recieve per year? :
The deciduous forest receives 30-60 inches of rain per year. It receives the second most amount of rain per year compared to other biomes.
-Can crops be grown easily in the area of the deciduous forest? :
The soil is very fertile and rich with nutrients, because of the deciduous trees. So growing crops in the area of the deciduous forest is easy.
-What is the average temperature of the deciduous forest? :
The average temperature of the deciduous forest is about 50 degrees ferienheit, but in the winter the temperature can be below freezing.
-How do the seasons work in this biome? :
The four seasons are easily recognizable, and they each last about 3 months each.
-Do the animals in this biome have any special qualities? :
Most animals in this biome are camouflaged with the ground so they blend in and can escape predators.

Summary:
The biome we chose to research was the Temperate Deciduous Forest. The deciduous forest is a very interesting biome that is common to the Eastern United States. This biome is also located in a lot of Europe, and a small part of Asia. It also has very small areas in the other continents as well. We also learned about how abiotic and biotic factors can affect this biome. In the end, we both learned a lot about this particular biome.
Conclusion:
Throughout our research for this biome we have concluded many things. We think that this biome will be around, and last for a very long time. Think that this is one of the healthier and stronger biomes out there. Even with human interference we believe that this biome will continue to expand. Also we have noticed that there are not as many endangered, threatened, or extinct species of animals or plants from this biome. These evaluations lead us to believe that this biome has a good chance of staying around for a long time.
